My Success

     "You're gonna suffer, but you're gonna be happy about it." I'm sure those who are Harry Potter's fans might be familiar with this quote, as this was one of the many marvelous quotes mentioned in the movie. I myself am not a big Harry Potter fan, but this quote has helped me with my life, and I will continue to keep this quote in my mind.

     I'm unshaken by the thought that SPM is one of the hardest examination, and it is the ticket to your future. Each and every participant will do all one can to achieve great results in their SPM, this goes the same to me. I pray and go all out, just so I can achieve great results and make my parents proud. 

     I used to be an unenthusiastic student, since primary school. I would get poor results in almost every subject, especially Mathematics. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that didn't like Maths, during primary and high school. Mathematics is just a subject where I can't get it wrapped around my fingers, some of my classmates would just scan through the book and immediately know how to solve a problem. 

     I would spent plenty of time just solving a simple question. Especially when it involves circles, angles and find x. Oooo😵..I hated it from the bottom of my heart. Therefore, I made my mind and told myself that, MATHEMATICS IS DAMN HARD. I would easily give up and not pay attention during class. 

     One day during my high school time, I accidentally came across this quote that would change my life forever. "You're gonna suffer, but you're gonna be happy about it." It was said by Ron towards Hermione and Harry. It hit me! I have to do something about my studies, I can't just let my parents sacrifice go waste! 

     From that day on, I revise day and night on my studies, especially on my weakest subject - Mathematics. I attended seminars, watch YouTube, frequently ask my teacher and friends for help and I also believed in myself. In a blink of an eye, it is already the day for my Maths paper, I bravely sat down and poured all the knowledge I've obtain into my examination. 

     Hours turned to days as days then turned to months, it was finally time to know our results. I was nervous, my hands were like waterfalls and I feel like my heart's about to jumped out my chest. With a heavy heart, I quietly sat down and open my computer. Each step I took, I feel like puking out of nervousness.😖 

     I logged in and slowly remove my hand from my screen. There brightly showing on my screen, my results. I was in astonishment! I finally got an A for my Mathematics!!🎊 From always fail to A, I was jaw drop. My parents were proud of my results and they never expected such results from me. I was in cloud nine.

     I smiled to myself and looked over at the quote. I am happy that I accidentally found this quote and it will always be my inspiration to keep me moving forward. I am also glad that I believed in myself and never gave up.
